The startling turn of events in the race for the White House left both sides confronting a wrenching series of strategic choices just one month before Election Day.
REBUTTAL BY
In an effort to foretell the ending to the suspense film that is the Trump presidency -- and to detect how this latest plot twist of Trump contracting (that is, pretending to contract) Stupid-19, the "Editorial Board" of The Anti-New York Times turned to the man, the myth, the legend of cryptic code himself -- namely, Mr. Q Anon -- for possible clues. Based on memory of certain loose ends, here's what we dug back up and pieced together for "youse guys" in chronological order:
February 10, 2020: Post 3850
An altered movie poster based on the 1990 film "The Hunt for Red October." Trump's face replaces that of Sean Connery, with the movie poster reading: "The Hunters Become the Hunted." The Q Post reads (in part) -- "How do you 'awaken' the 'induced coma' public [FAKE NEWS control] from their long sleep? Sometimes allowing your enemies to [openly] attack… Logical thinking.

Again, that same altered movie poster based on the 1990 film "The Hunt for Red October." The Q Post contains a link to an article in which Trump calls himself "a wartime president."

Yet again, the same altered movie poster for "The Hunt for Red October." The Q post beneath reads (all caps) RED OCTOBER.
In addition to all of the "Red October" postings, a handful of Q drops throughout 2020 say: "Rig for Red" -- which is submarine terminology for the red lights that a silent-running sub turns on when it is preparing to rise to periscope depth -- possible attack mode.

But a major event set to take place on October 2nd (The President & First Lady come down with "Covid!") signals the start of "The Hunt for Red October" -- a "movie" whose ending "we will love." (It will soon backfire on the Deep State) -- "It's about time!" -- Already, Trump's enemies in the Demonrat Party and Fake News have been forced to suddenly stop their vicious attacks on the "diseased" Trump. The "Sympathy Vote" may guarantee his re-election.

The submarine thriller movie "Red October" has been a constant theme of Q Anon. Image 2 has been posted several times in 2020.

1. Q Anon Post 4740, dated September 16, foretold of a big event on "10/2" (October 2nd) // 2. Post 4095 tells of a happy ending to the movie. // 3. The Submarine-Captain-in-Chief has a surprise in store for those hunting him.
Just on the basis of how well those Q Posts match up with ongoing events, we have reason for optimism -- excitement even. And yet -- in spite of the fact that this writer happens to be so fond of "The Hunt for Red October" that he's probably watched it no less than a half-dozen times over the years -- it was a reader named Liz (Hi Liz!) who reminded me of the most important clue of all, that is, the tactical maneuver by which the defecting Soviet Captain of "Red October" (Sean Connery) turned the tables on the other Soviet submarine that was pursuing him.
From the script:
Capt. Vasili Borodin: Torpedo impact, 5 seconds.
(the torpedo slams into the bow of Red October and breaks up on impact (harmlessly))
Commander Bart Mancuso: I'll be damned!
Jack Ryan: What happened?
Commander Mancuso: Combat tactics, Mr. Ryan. By turning into the path of the torpedo, the Captain closed the distance before it could arm itself.
Jack Ryan: So that's it?
Captain Ramius (Sean Connery): Not quite. Right now Tupolev is removing the safety features on all his weapons. He won't make the same mistake twice.
(Red October continues to make evasive maneuvers. A diversion provided by an American submarine helps bring the underwater battle to an end -- with the Soviet sub (the "V. K. Konovalov"" being destroyed by its own fired intelligent torpedo.)
Konovalov Crewman: Torpedo, Dead Ahead!
Andrei Bonovia: (to Captain Tupolev) You arrogant ass. You've killed us.
(just moments later, the Konovalov explodes.)
Decode: Hoisted on their own petard! (blown up by one's own bomb) -- Stupid-19 was the torpedo that was supposed to "blow up" Trump. By turning into its path before the device could arm itself (by "catching the disease himself) Trump neutralized the attack. And now, "The Hunter Becomes the Hunted" as the final devastating counterattack approaches. The "torpedo" meant for Trump will turn back around and sink them instead. Get it?

1. A body double (Trump's recently "deceased" brother, Robert?) is well concealed with the "Covid mask". This Trump refused to even answer reporters' question as to how he was doing. // 2. The actual Trump is safe aboard either a Navy ship or Air Force 1 (the tweeted video actually shows the background moving (very subtly) up and down & side to side because he is at sea -- here) // 3. An early Q Post (#35 from 2017) said that Trump would be "insulated / protected" when arrest operations begin. Could that be what is happening?
